Individual Teletherapy Services

  • What to Look Forward To:

When beginning therapy (or counseling), a person can experience multiple feelings with the first appointment: nervousness, concern, and a ton of questions.

Although each individual and their feelings may be different, during your first meeting, you and your therapist will take the time to explore these thoughts and feelings and begin the process of building a relationship together. With time, the more trust that you experience with your therapist, the more you will be able to explore who you are as a person, while finding ways to move in a direction that is comfortable for you.

At Person-Holistic Innovations, you can look forward to having a therapist who will emphatically listen to you and your needs and continually support you throughout your process of change.

Teletherapy is a form of mental health services that is conducted over the internet through HIPAA-compliant (client privacy protected) video-conferencing services.  This form is treatment is beneficial for individuals within rural communities who have low access to mental health services in their community, individuals with significant, physical health-based concerns, and for the convenience of having therapy services from your own residence.

Due to safety precautions for the client’s benefit, an assessment for the participation of teletherapy services and an outlined understanding of safety protocols (identification of emergency rooms, urgent care/doctors, inpatient hospitalizations, fire departments, and police departments, an identified “emergency” individual with whom can be contacted in case of client non-contact) must be identified prior to the use of teletherapy services.  Such safety protocols for teletherapy services are considered to be the highest standard of care within the profession.

Sports Performance Consultation

Within sports, we often understand the importance of physical exercise and practice for performance purposes; however, we forget about the “mental” side of the game and its importance within athletic improvement. During this time, an athlete can learn and focus on ways of improving one’s concentration, confidence, and many other skill sets that are important for performance enhancement.

Whether you want to take the next step within your athletic abilities or are currently experiencing a lack of confidence within your performances, you will be able to explore and implement ways of increase consistency and production within your sport.

Cancellation Policy:

All services are by appointment only, and therefore, a reservation of time.  To adhere to the best standards of practices, our office does not “double book” appointments.  We ask that if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, you must cancel 24 hours prior to the appointment time by calling the office or therapist directly.  The following fees will be assessed for any “no show” or “late cancellation” of appointments:

  • $50 for any fully licensed therapist
